Здравствуйте. Нашла этот вид в Нижнем Новгороде. Видимо тоже откуда-то завезли.
Разослано Второе информационное письмо малакологической конференции в Борке
Сегодня утром получил сообщение из Борка, что наша заявка на проведение конференции, поданная в РФФИ, получила поддержку фонда.
Скончался Игорь Моисеевич Хохуткин
57 лет в Институте он проработал. Похороны в субботу. Игорь Моисеевич родился 28 сентября 1934 года в г. Свердловске. В 1958 г....

Gene Coan, Dick Petit, and Alan Kabat are pleased to announce that the 2012 edition of "2,400 Years of Malacology" -- a catalog of biographical and bibliographical articles about those who studied and collected mollusks -- is now on the website of the American Malacological Society: http://www.malacological.org/publications/epubs.php

The 2012 edition is just over 1,000 pages. It also includes two additional documents containing collations of a number of important references for malacological systematists, including a detailed collation of the Kuster edition of Martini-Chemnitz (1837-1920) that synthesizes the data from a number of previously published collations.

Also, the Annotated Catalog of Malacological Meetings (including symposia and workshops) has been updated this year, and is on the AMS website: http://www.malacological.org/publications/epubs.php

We would appreciate receiving your suggestions as to additional citations, or your comments. Although it is not practical or possible for the "2,400 Years of Malacology" catalog to list everyone who has ever published on mollusks, or collected mollusks, we have tried to include those who were the subject of published biographies.

Спасибо! Чем больше слежу за развитием этого издания, тем больше убеждаюсь, что в современном мире разного рода справочники, каталоги и атласы стоит издавать именно так - в электронном виде и с ежегодными update. Дешево и сердито. Книги - дело хорошее, но слишком уж быстро они устаревают.

Сейчас много чего уходит в онлайн. Много журналов, книг, где печать on-demand. Веление времени.

Да наша лаборатория тоже переходит на электронные издания, на бумажные денег нет и не будет :cry: , а електронные дешевле в разработке и дают больше возможностей по функционалу. В нас уже практически готовое електронное издание с таким названием "Моллюски семейства Unionidae в фондах Государственного природоведческого музея НАН Украины, их конхологическая изменчивость и особенности диагностики", пока оно рецензируется. Скоро сделаем его анонс здесь на форуме.
